We take our investment in the engineers of the future as seriously as we do in providing a cost-effective, quality, responsive and reliable in-house PCB manufacturing service and we’re delighted to sponsor a number of Cambridge University led projects including Cambridge University Space Flight Team (CUSF) and Cambridge University Eco Racing (CUER). We’ve produced PCBs to power CUSF rockets and CUER solar powered vehicles, with both projects enjoying great successes.
This includes the CUER team who finished in an impressive 22nd place in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in Australia at the end of 2015 with their vehicle ‘Evolution’ – the team’s best ever result! The public have been able to see ‘Evolution’ at the Cambridge Technology Museum from 17th – 21st February and will also be at The Gadget Show Live from 30th March – 4th April. On Thursday 18th February, we were lucky enough to get our very own close up view of ‘Evolution’ when we attended the CUER drinks reception in The Old Library at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. We met the team and fellow sponsors and it was a great way to celebrate such a great team effort.
